This serene interior was documented as part of Channel 4’s George Clarke’s Old House, New Home.
Architect Greg Blee reimagined this previously unloved 1960s build, creating a home where the interior responds directly to the architecture. Neutral poured concrete floors provide a calm, understated base, layered with textured furniture and fabrics in deep inky blues to introduce warmth and depth. The result is a space that feels balanced, restrained, and quietly confident.

SOUTH TOTTENHAM
A thoughtfully renovated private family home in South Tottenham. A light-filled glass roof extension houses a simple white kitchen–diner, grounded by reclaimed Douglas fir flooring and graphic geometric tiles.
Elsewhere in the house, there was room to introduce more colour, with softly painted pink and blue floors in the bedrooms. Throughout, the palette remains considered and restrained, with reclaimed and repurposed materials used wherever possible to create a home that feels both characterful and cohesive.

A beautifully considered living room renovation within a coach house, where the focus was on revealing and celebrating the building’s original character. The false ceiling at the rear of the space was removed to expose and restore the original beams, instantly enhancing both the sense of height and architectural presence.
Industrial-style internal doors and wall lights were introduced to complement the structure, allowing the historic elements to sit comfortably alongside contemporary furniture and layered textiles. The result is a space that feels balanced and inviting, successfully bridging old and new.
